Its been an exciting year for 3C International and as we look back it is hard to imagine that we would have crammed so much in to our first year in business.
At the beginning there was a mission to Bristol to help two international outsourcing giants communicate their global merger, Nair&Co and High Street Partners became became Radius with the help of a dual CEO film to explain what the change meant to staff worldwide.
In May we moved in as ‘start- up residents’ with Digital Jersey at their new hub facility and were invited to film their launch event and various other activities as the year progressed.
At the same time we began conversations with Dale and Andrew at 3D Performance. The 3D team are responsible for events like the Barclays Jersey Boat Show and the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon, and they gave us a temporary office away from the hub when we needed it.
3D also provide leadership and strategy development services, often based around events and in the early part of the summer Tom filmed up in Rotterdam on a couple of occasions for Nidera, an international producer, trader and marketer of commodities.
3Ci was chosen as the film supplier to this years IOD Jersey Awards, which gave us the chance to showcase what we can do and the evening’s host Gyles Brandreth was uncharacteristically complementary about the films.
In June our relationship with 3D Events and 3D Performance blossomed and we all moved into new premises together at Number 1 Waterloo Street. The 3C and 3D thing by the way was purely coincidental – its funny how things turn out!
Over the summer we filmed various interesting projects from Discrimination Law Training Modules to Government Reform films and we got up in the air (with all the necessary permissions) to film aerials of St Georges School with Steve Baudains one of the island’s only qualified and licensed drone pilots.
From September we began working for some of our new international finance clients producing internal communications content as well as animated info graphics for international financial products. These are the kind of films that more and more marketers are using to engage with staff and clients.
This year we launched two YouTube channels – JRFC TV and Jersey Sport TV as dedicated online video portals for fans and followers. We have covered off the pitch activity and comment from JRFC and produced short films about sports clubs and sports tourism events in an effort to raise awareness of both for Jersey Sport.
Tom spent the entire month of September filming for a show called Style Out There. Teaming up with our friend and former colleague Liam Le Guillou, the guys filmed in six countries in 30 days taking in New York, Tokyo, Korea, India, Amsterdam and Morocco. The results of that project can be seen on the website of refinery29.com and you can read about Tom’s travels in December’s Gallery magazine.
None of what we have achieved this year would have been possible without the support of a great many people. Some key individuals and organisations gave us the belief to set out as 3C International.
However you have interacted with us in 2014 we would like to thank you for your business, friendship and support and here’s to 2015!
